THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CHRIST AND THE BIBLE
a salvation issue
a salvation issue
who love me, keep my words: and my Father will love him,
come to him and make our abode with him.
(John 14:23)
The Mosaic law was given to Israel for various reasons, including preparing people for the arrival of the Messiah. Also revealed the evil and man's inability to get rid of sin, needing to do a Redeemer-Jesus Christ-that eventually, through his atoning sacrifice, end with the yoke of the law and introduce the people of God -the Church to a new relationship with the Creator, very different to the Old Covenant. This new relationship is what we know as the New Testament.
The Act was a "shadow" symbolic, aimed at showing the reality that the Messiah was to teach, bring it. While the law was full of visible signs of God's dealings with Israel, Christ taught that Christians were called to establish a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, not of man, "and that this relationship would not be as in ancient Israel, where they were as a mass, but that communication would be established as individuals. Similarly, under the New Covenant and not enter into this relationship based on a carnal descent that we did belong to the Jewish people, but we would do it according to our motivations and conditions of our heart.
Jesus said that we did not need a set of laws and rules to reach God, but through faith in his sacrifice would be returned to our spiritual father. That is, we are not under law but under grace.
However, millions of Christians despise this freedom that brought us the Lord Jesus, and voluntarily choose to enslave themselves under the "coverage", tyrannical or not pastors and other hierarchs "Christians." Have lost sight of the meaning of the true gospel and have preferred to submit to the will of men taking the place of Christ and call themselves "shepherds", and intermediaries between Christ and men. They are men who say that those who disobey them are disobedient to God and submit to the believers to spiritual tyranny blurring Christ, living at the expense of the congregation and leading the blind into the pit.
taught that Jesus never had to submit to the spiritual authority of pastors. The only authority was himself, and so he made it known on numerous occasions to his disciples. When he left, this authority would rest in His Word ... what we now know as the Bible.
What is the relationship between Christ and the Bible ..?
What is the Bible ...? The word of God. What many do not realize is that Jesus Christ is also known as the Word of God.
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten of the Father) (John 1:14)
(Christ) was dressed a robe dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. (Revelation 19:13)
Incredibly, the so-called Christians do not accept the Bible (ie, Christ) because they prefer to believe the men Jesus. When they are shown from the Scriptures that Christ has not been named co-pastors and delegates, and that only He leads his people in an invisible way, these men want to keep believing their pastors and religious leaders who would ensure that they-the pastor- have been appointed by Jesus himself to guide them to God. These slaves of men do not care what the Bible says, do not want to believe it.
Also, when shown what the Bible says about women teaching the congregation, these bad men (and women) say that it is written (that women should not teach the church) is machismo, and that such is not valid for modern feminism. Making the word of God; invalidate Christ.
Bible who despises them despises Christ who disobey the Bible, disobedient to Christ. Whoever hears the word and does not obey, is in serious danger
Therefore everyone who hears these words, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man who built his house upon the rock. (Matthew 7:24)
Building on the rock means to listen and do what Christ says regardless of the time in which you live. When we put the foundation-Christ, the Rock-in our lives, we must begin to build on that foundation by listening and doing the word of God, the Bible, applying it diligently in our lives.
And now I commend you to God and the word of his grace, which is able to build. (Acts 20:32)
The point is clear: Only the blessed word of God, not obedience to the Pastors, as we hear it, study it, will keep it and apply it, is able to build within us a faith building strong and safe sitting on the foundation of Christ himself. The Bible is not a pastor or any religious leader, which has power us to build you a building of faith, necessary for our salvation.
If we know that Christ is perfectly one with the Bible, we understand that our relationship with Christ should be the same as our relationship with the Bible. Christ, like the Bible, is one yesterday, today and forever.
The Bible is the means of communication between Christ and his disciples
Chapter 14 of John, Jesus tells his disciples that he is about to go to heaven, and they mean a separation in terms of presence physics. But Jesus adds something more: it says that from that moment on, from the moment he separated from them, establish a new relationship.
The issue is difficult to understand by the disciples. They do not understand how they can see and have fellowship with him, if you are about to leave.
Look at this passage. When the disciples ask Jesus to show them the Father, Christ is revealed as one with the Father, Christ says that whoever sees him sees the Father. He assured them that the Father is in him and everything that speaks, speaks in the name of the Father, who is doing the work. Then he says those who ask the Father in Jesus' name, which will receive Christ as the same will. How ...? By the Holy Spirit that the world can not receive because it neither sees him nor knows him.
A little while, and the world seeth me no more, but ye see me. (John 14:19)
Jesus is clear in stating that the world will not see but that his disciples will do so. Extremely confused, Judas (not Judas Iscariot, but the other), asks: " Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not to the world ..? "(John 14:22).
Here is asking Judas to Jesus: "Lord, how can you manifest to us, your disciples, and the rest, who did not they are, not reveal to thee ..? "" What kind of communication will keep with us and not to the world ..? "
Jesus answers:
who love me, keep my words: and my Father will love and come to him and make our abode with him. (John 14:23) Take heed
. Judas asks Jesus how to show his disciples, and Jesus says that only manifest who keep their word. Disciple is one who keep the word of God, the Bible. The only way to be a disciple, is keeping the word of God.
So, "keep My word," is the difference between true disciple and who is not. The true disciples of Christ keep the word of God.
When confronted with an Assemblies of God pastor about tithing, it having no biblical arguments to prove the validity of tithing under the New Covenant, only managed to say: " I obey what he says Primer Assemblies of God . " I asked him again if he would obey the primer before the Bible, and he answered boldly: "Yes I will obey Assemblies of God before the Bible ."
In other words, this pastor, like all the shepherds are willing to obey men rather than God. Are willing to follow traditions and doctrines of men rather than God's commandments. The reason for the pastor in question, preferring to obey Assemblies of God before the Bible was rampant greed, I said 'conciliadoramente': " brother .. I accept the fact that tithing is not mandatory under the Covenant of Grace ... but if people believe that tithing is required, it gives hard .... Imagine if they found out that it is not, would not you ...! "
This same greed, whether for money or power, leading to the pastors and religious leaders to teach, contrary to the Scriptures, that God has appointed co-pastors of Christ, men who are owed the same obedience to our Lord.
So we know that store and fulfill the word of God is the supreme characteristic that distinguishes the disciple of Christ in the world. Save the Word of God is the supreme test of a disciple's love for God and the supreme cause of God's favor by the disciple. Thus, Christ appears to the disciple through the word of God, when is kept and obeyed.
And then when there is a wonderful promise: The Father and the Son come to the disciple's life and establish their permanent home with him through the word of God.
This means that anyone who claims to be a disciple and not obey the word of God, the Bible has absolutely no relation to the Lord. Many "Christians" with whom I speak, I answered defend their pastors, "If my pastor is doing wrong, God will straighten it ..." And the truth, sadly, is that God does not have to "straighten" anything since those who call themselves "co-pastors with Christ", are antichrist, Satan's children who are lost to many. And those who are left astray, preferring to follow these men before Christ (the Bible), the same fate of its pastors, whom Jesus called it "thieves and robbers, who does not own the sheep."
who says: I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar and the truth is not in it, but whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God perfected: hereby we know we are with him . (1 John 2:4-5)
obey the word of God is what distinguishes us as followers of Christ. This is proof that we love God.
Only when we keep the word of God we may Christ is revealed. Only obeying the Word of God can do that the Father and the Son come to life and make his dwelling in us.
In short, our attitude toward the word of God must be the same as our attitude toward God. We can not love God more than his word, we can not respect God more than his word.
We can not obey God more than his word. Who ensures that loves God and obey him, but most prefer to obey your pastor or your singer "Christian" choice is lying. We can not honor God more than his word, we can not give more room for God that we are giving your word.
If you belong to the group of millions of believers who are tithe, which is placed under the spiritual authority of pastors and / or apostles elders, bishops and others, or whether it belongs to those who believe they are serving God correctly, it is good to revise their beliefs in light of Scripture, working diligently to find the true God, not that their leaders say God is. When they do, when looking-individually-the God of the Bible, they will realize that they had been worshiping a different God our almighty and merciful Creator. If they do, they will understand, as Paul did-that they were serving Satan and not God.
And God is revealed to those who truly seek him
