REALITY - THE VIRTUAL
As coordinator of the Club Reading in recent years, only a few words about it. When, in August this year, I had news that would not be renewed in my library assistant position, my first concern was the continuation of the club. I consulted my colleagues to take over any of it, but obviously, the absence of three people from my colleagues in October forced to multiply, which prevented material that could undertake this activity. Then offered the coordination of the Reading Club to my fellow club members, but all expressed opposition to take its place would be empty, because it seemed ethical. At this point, I had more to cancel the sending of lots of books, which cost money for the library, and dismiss the club in the CAL. Personally I feel, and as I said in a previous post, for me it was a stimulating and enriching. But obviously I can not, to this day, continue to devote time to perform an activity that required me dedication in and out of my old work schedule. Cultural volunteering is fine when you're young and full of energy or when you are retired and have time, but I seem acceptable at this time the culture is intended to reduce the size and less by someone who does not preach the example. I've lost a job in which I have been happy during the time I've played better or worse, but with my good will and above all passion. The library has been my pride and San Roque, since I was a user, and it still is. Nothing is said in the virtual reality affects a service that lets everyday example of their good performance, despite the political and economic circumstances, which always affect more cultural aspects. That's what you have to look, reality, and I say this from experience having sailed across the network to participate in discussions in various forums, even generations from my own blogs. Nothing is said in the virtual world I returned to my work or I will seek an extension of unemployment benefits. So I will not lose a single minute of my life with this kind of virtual. My reality is to go home and continue my projects.
That said, I learned that it has reached an agreement among members of the club and the library to resume activities under the responsibility of the Library in terms of management and infrastructure. I am delighted and I really would have liked to continue leading the coordination of the Club, but my life has taken other courses that force me to move around regularly to another place and time to devote my energies and my present and my future. In any case I am happy that this re- be the Book Club Blog Network of Libraries of San Roque. I hope that for many years. Fram
