really excited when I saw on the BBC long shots of protesters lit candles in the cold night crossing from Copenhagen to require political responsibility for the future of the planet. I was supportive and proud to see so many people aware of what was going and determined to show that change is needed. Do not listen to them. Some environmentalists are now in jail. Among them, the director of Greenpeace Spain .
climate summit in Copenhagen over stocks with a great failure that seriously threatens the future of mankind and other living things. China and U.S. have decided by others. Behind closed doors, agreed that there would be no real agreement on reducing emissions. Continue to produce, getting rich and polluting without worrying about the consequences which, unfortunately, will be for everyone.
Perhaps it should remember the myth of King Midas who a god asked what he most wanted and said, reckless, that wanted to turn to gold everything he touched. When he discovered that his new gift could not touch anything or anyone as even wanted to eat foods that became the coveted metal, had to pray to God to give him back his life before this dangerous concession. Had chosen badly desire. He repented. The god took pity on him and released him from their poisoned chalice. But when they are not gods but the laws of physics and ecosystems that are at stake, no forgiveness or possible correction.
